Riverwalk Retreat
Riverwalk Retreat is our getaway. It is one block away from the Riverwalk in Manistee. The Riverwalk connects Lake Manistee via the Manistee River to Lake Michigan. You can go for an urban hike along the river to the Manistee Marina right onto the shore of Lake Michigan.
We loving being able to walk to restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops downtown, while also being able to bike to the beach, kayak into the lake, and take a boat to go fishing. It encompasses everything we want to do on a vacation; it’s our retreat that we want to share with you.
Manistee, MI
Our Riverwalk Retreat is located in the heart of Manistee, Michigan at 210 5th Avenue. We have our own regional airport that is 4.3 miles from our house. We’re are 5.5 miles from the Little River Casino (and public transit picks up across the street from our home and will take you to and from the casino so you can enjoy your time and not have to worry about driving). It’s the perfect location that combines nature and urban amenities.

We have recently remodeled the entire house and updated everything; and we mean everything. Check out our Instagram (@Wildernest_Stays) for the full renovation. We have four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and two living spaces with a 16’ by 24’ back deck. We are dogs friendly! If you’re looking to bring your dog with you, please communicate to the owner at least 7 days prior to the start of the trip - email us to get more information.
On the main level, we have a living space with a 9’ x 7’ sectional for gathering, bedroom with a queen bed, and full bathroom with direct access to a screened in porch and massive back deck. Upstairs, we have another living space with 2 pull out couches (one queen and one full), three bedrooms (A- king size bed with walk in closet; B- full size and twin beds; C- full size bed), plus another full bathroom with heated flooring.
